The luipi tripiopo tool / M. Pozzi
€13.72
Mirtha Pozzi invites us to participate in the game with words, their meaning, their non-meaning and their sounds, and to experience the rhythm with the body in an organic, non-arithmetic way… A real circulation takes place between the spoken-rhythmic text and the rhythms played by the percussion.
The texts are inspired by the writings of André Leroi-Gourhan, which discuss prehistoric man , his artistic sense, and the birth of tools . A play on " deformed " language (Trio/Tripiopo), through jeringozo (a South American slang) and its blend with French , creates an energetic, lively, and slightly mocking piece , sustained by polyrhythms and in communion with the audience. The score, for a trio of zarbs, includes in an appendix rhythms adapted for other homogeneous finger percussion instruments, as well as suggestions for instrumental improvisation.
