Ritual / J.F. Leze

This piece must be approached and performed with an almost religious reverence. It is divided into two parts. The first, "PRAYER," explores the existing sonic effects for the flute, harmonically accompanied by the vibraphone, tam-tam, and gongs. The second, "SACRIFICE," which is faster, is based on the Asian-Bartok scale.
