Journey of No Return / A. Telman

In ABCA form, this piece is based on a single thematic cell of five notes. This 5-minute, 15-second work focuses on rhythms and colors. It alternates between the pentatonic mode, whole-tone scales, major seventh progressions, clusters, and more tonal atmospheres. Instrumentation: Glock, vibraphone, drums, and timpani.
